What Makes It Special
Why We Love Grand Targhee
More Snow, Fewer Crowds
500 Inches A Year
The west slope of the Tetons catches massive Pacific moisture, dropping 500+ inches per year — often twice what falls on the Jackson side, with a fraction of the crowds.
Single-Digit Lift Lines
First Tracks, Every Day
Targhee is famously uncrowded. Even on peak holiday weekends, expect single-digit wait times at every lift — every run feels like opening day.
Family-Friendly Vibe
No Airs, No Attitude
Targhee is beloved by families and powder hounds alike. Easy parking, friendly base lodge, and a laid-back mountain culture that welcomes every level.
Year-Round Fun
Festival & Summer Adventure
Summer brings mountain biking, hiking, the legendary Targhee Music Festival, and some of the most spectacular Teton views anywhere on the planet.
